Update 2: Damasgate Wholesale recalls Sofra Garlic Powder because of undeclared peanut
What happened
Damasgate Wholesale is recalling Sofra Garlic Powder because it contains peanuts which are not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to peanuts. This recall has been updated as some products have been over stickered with Precautionary Allergen Labelling (PAL). Where a PAL is present on products clearly indicating that peanut may be present, these are unaffected by this product recall.
Official consumer advice
If you have bought any of the above products and have an allergy to peanuts, do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund. For more information, please contact 02085758800 or info@damasgate.uk.com.
